This is the 3rd role playing game I have played, so bear with me. I know I am not that experienced in role playing games, but to a somewhat newcomer this review will let you know how some other newcomers may think of the game. Champions of Norrath is very similar to the Dark Alliance games. I think it has the same format and the same theme going on here. The game is quite enteraining, dont get me wrong, but I have played Dark Alliance and there's not much of a difference. I'd say get one or the other. The overall game play of Champions of Norrath is great, the graphic are good, the music could get annoying sometimes (usually late at night "ahh I'm scared") but the sound effects seems fairly real. I think the story is not that great, pretty boring plot. The hack and slash side of the game makes up for it. The names of the characters seems well for the time that this game should have been in. One of the main things I dislike about this game is that the enemies are too few. It is like there are a certain number of enemies you can kill for a certain level. You can only reach a certain level in each stage of the game. The enemies are fairly easy to defeat if you know how to fight them and if you use the right fighter. Also I really like the number of classes that you can choose from. But (of course) with human nature, greed settles in and I want more classes. The weapons and armor in the game are plentiful and have a wide variety. This is my review and im sticking to it.
