This game is great. Best hack and slasher I have played. Its so much better than Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance. The classes are interesting and diverse but it still has your typical characters from other hack and slashers. They kind of copied this classes from diablo but it doesn't matter. There is a cleric(which is just like the pallidan in Diablo 2) which heals and gives the whole party defensive bonuses and combats the undead with ease. There's your ranger (which is the amazon in diablo2) which uses a bow. Then theres the shadow knight, which is my favorite, who is kind of a copy of the necromancer. It doesn't matter though the game is still great. Its nothing like the other boring Everquest games; this is pure fun. The graphics are amazing and I don't think I was the only one who's jaw dropped watching the water effects. The story is well...so-so. The network play makes it even better than it already is. I haven't tried it online yet because I don't have a network adapter for PS2 yet but I probably will get one just for this game. One of my favorite features was how you character changes when you add different armor and weapons. At the beggining its kind of cool to customize you character but it get so much fun later when you start getting really cool armor and weapons. I would recommend it to anyone who likes rpgs and get satisfaction for leveling your character up and giving it new armor and weapons and getting new skills too. For everyone else you might want to rent it because some people get bored pressing the x button over and over.
