OK, im a big Baldurs gate fan so right off the bat this game appealed to me, but the fact that this game is also online and has 4 player co-op... now that really caught my attention. For you people out there who judge this game by saying that it only has good graphics and thats all the developers focused on ..then you obviously haven't played the game through.
First of all I would like to talk about the replay value, the online portion of the game is amazing and if you have a network adapter you should definitely check it out. The 4 player co op is so fun , if you have friends that are into the genre, then you'll probably spend hours playing it. The fact that there is 10,000+ different items will keep you looking and building your character. The amount of dungeons + the fact that they are different everytime you go in them will make you want to explore them over and over, with that, the three difficulty levels you can choose from makes it a different expierience too.
Now the graphics are absolutely fantastic and easily outmatch Baldurs Gate 2. Champions of Norrath easily has some of the best visuals on the ps2 and most will be very pleased.
The controls are very easy to get used to and aren't frustrating at all. The sound is also amazing and the music is outstanding especially in battle.
Overall I think this game is a blast and is especially fun when playing with friends so my rating- 9.5/10 I recommend this game to action lovers people who like to play with other people and people who just like a straight up good hack and slash.
